Our Story
Dave and Debra have really known each other since they participated in the high school track team. There they
were aquaintences, and Deb was good friends with his sister Heather. Ironically she even used to drive Heather
home after school to the very home where Dave lived.
On July 2nd, 2005, Deb saw Heather at the Enfield 4th of July 5k,
and she was eager to say hello since she hadn't seen her in years. That was the day that started it all. Even
though Dave and Deb saw each other at the race in the past, they never really spoke to each other. In 2005, it was a little different.

After the race, Deb had changed to go meet with her friend Megan for a girls' night out. Dave spotted Deb, and
walked over to say hello. Dave, Deb, Deb's Dad, Heather, and Keith chatted for a few minutes. Heather and
Keith headed home, and Dave had enough courage to ask Deb for her number right in front of her Dad.
The following day, Deb called Dave to see if he was going to the fireworks that evening. That's right, she called
first! Following that day, they had a few dates together and everything seemed to click. Their first one on one
date was on July 14th, 2005 and they have been together since.
Deb and Dave share many common interests and not only are they in love, but they are also the best of friends.
They continue to run road races together, as this is now a hobby that they share together. July is the month
of choice for their wedding, as it was the month that started it all, and they both love summer. Dave and Deb
are currently living in Enfield, CT. They look forward to spending their special day with you.
